Can I attend YOGAKIDS's LEVEL 2 Teacher Training if I have completed a different
Kids Yoga Teacher Training (i.e. not with YOGAKIDS Training Academy).
No, sorry. Our Training has gone through a rigorous accreditation process with Yoga Alliance Australia/International. It consists of our Level 1 & Level 2 trainings as two components of one whole Training that has been authorised by them.
Will you be running Level 2 Teacher Training in every capital city?
We will be running them in most major cities, but not all.
We run them where there is sufficient demand. They are run less often than the Level 1 Teacher Trainings so please take advantage of whatever opportunities you have to complete it
Is there a minimum time limit between doing Level 1 and Level 2?
The usual gap between courses is 6 weeks to 6 months. You may complete Level 1 & 2 in under 6 weeks if you travel to a different city to do Level 2 (and there is a Level 2 course available).
Just make sure you have taught at least 2 Practice Classes and
completed your Pre-Course Work (which will take approximately 3 hours)
Can I enrol in Level 2 as a follow-on course when I enrol in Level 1?
Absolutely, this is the usual way to enrol, and ensures your place in the upcoming LEVEL 2 Training. Please make sure you complete a Level 1 Training before attending Level 2.
You must have either completed a Level 1 Teacher Training
or be enrolled in one to have your enrolment in Level 2 accepted.
Are there any non-contact hours work required for Level 2?
Yes, there are some readings that are required which will be supplied 1-2 weeks prior to the training. These contribute towards your 50 hours and can be done on the evening of the trainings or in the week prior to the training. If you are completing the Level 1 & Level 2 trainings back to back you will be able to complete the readings as homework in the evenings of the training.
Can I teach before completing Level 2?
Yes certainly!! We encourage it (but it's not compulsory!).
I am a very experienced yoga teacher. Will I benefit from this training?
Yes!!! Continued professional development is essential for Yoga Teachers, even very experienced ones. You will learn all the knowledge specific to teaching children and will be able to be recognised as a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
What if I register now but then have to cancel?
Life happens!
If you register, you have 7 days after your initial payment to change your mind to receive a full refund (less a $50 admin fee).
After this, your registration can be transferred to an ONLINE LEVEL 2 Training that's accessible for 6 months
NB. Payments made within 14 days of the training are non refundable & non transferable, unless in extreme circumstances, and at the discretion of the Director.
See our TERMS & CONDITIONS below for more info :-)
